Explore the castle independently
with your own key
Upon arrival, we will hand you the key to Loevestein. With this you will discover all kinds of things about the history and stories of the castle and the fortress. Learn to shoot musket. Mix the right ingredients for gunpowder to shake the gunpowder tower to its foundations. Do you make sure that the fortress does not flood when the water starts to rise? And… how did Hugo de Groot escape from the castle?
