De Commies room is a lovely room with a twinsize bed. The bathroom includes a shower. Thre (private) toilet is in the hallway. From this room you have a view on the gardens of the barracks.

Het Soldatenhuisje

This is a small former house for soldiers and has two floors. You can find the toilet on the ground floor and the bathroom and bedroom on the second floor. You will have a lovely view on the castle from the living room as well as from the bedroom.

De Commandeurskamer is a luxurious room with a kingsize bed. The bathroom contains a bath, shower and toilet. From this room, you have a beautiful view on the castle. It is possible to place one or two extra beds in this room.

De Officierskamer is a luxurious room with a kingsize bed. The bathroom contains a bath, shower and toilet. From one side of this room, you have a beautiful view on the castle and on the other side, you can see the sun rise over the river ‘de Waal’. It is possible to place one or two extra beds in this room.

When you wake up the next day rested, a delicious breakfast with organic and local produce is waiting for you in the Taveerne. Do you have any allergies or dietary requirements? Please let us know upfront.

Tip: reserve a watertaxi to go for dinner

There are several very nice restaurants in the area. You can go there by car, but the watertaxi is also a very nice way to reach your dinner location. The watertaxi can pick you up at Loevestein. It can take you to Woudrichem or Gorinchem and after your dinner, it can bring you back to Loevestein castle. You can reserve a watertaxi at Riveer.

Free WIFI, coffee/tea and museum

Check your email, find a restaurant or search for information about the area? No problem! You can use our WIFI for free. You can also use our coffee and tea facilities in the coffee corner. A visit to the castle and the exhibition are of course included in the price.

Extra bed of crib

In the Commandeurskamer and the Officierskamer it is possible to place one or two extra beds (€ 45,- per bed per nacht) or an extra crib (€ 25,- per bed per night). You can request an extra bed when you make your reservation.
